There is a rate for apprentices of £3.50 but strict criteria must be met to qualify.

The National Living Wage will be increased for people over the age of 25 to a rate of £7.50 an hour.

There is a rate for apprentices of £3.30 but strict criteria must be met to qualify.

From April next year a ‘National Living Wage’ will be introduced for people over the age of 25. The rate of pay will be £7.20 an hour, with the figure rising to £9 by 2020.
